Do I need to download an app?

No. DayBrief works entirely over text message. We send your morning briefing, pre-meeting reminders, and replies to your existing SMS app on iPhone or Android. Nothing to install, nothing to log in to daily.

Which calendar does it work with?

Google Calendar, including any calendar you've added to your Google account (work, personal, shared). When you sign up, you connect your calendar with one tap and DayBrief reads your events to build briefings. Outlook and Apple Calendar aren't supported yet.

What happens after the 7-day free trial?

You'll be charged $4.99/month, cancel any time. We send a reminder text before the trial ends so it's never a surprise. Cancel from your dashboard or just text "cancel" to your DayBrief number — your access continues to the end of the billing period.

What data do you collect, and is it private?

Your name, phone number, calendar events, and SMS conversations with the bot. Calendar data is read on demand to generate briefings — we don't sell or share it with anyone. Your SMS replies are stored to give the AI context across days. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Will it spam me with texts?

One morning briefing per day, plus a heads-up 15 minutes before each meeting on your calendar. That's it. You never get marketing texts, and you can text "stop" any time to pause everything.

Can I change my briefing time?

Yes — pick a time during signup, change it later by texting "change briefing time to 8am" or from your dashboard. Briefings always arrive in your local timezone.

What can I ask DayBrief over text?

"Add gym 7am tomorrow", "what's on my plate this week?", "move my 3pm to Thursday", "cancel dinner Friday", "remind me my dad's birthday is May 12". The bot understands natural language, not commands. If you can ask a friend with your calendar, you can ask DayBrief.

Does it work outside North America?

Yes — anywhere with SMS. We support all timezones and any phone number. Carrier rates may apply for international SMS.
